10 Best Bollywood movies

I have added only few classics , because i haven't watched them , but i know some of the great modern movies ,not too modern , i think greatest bollywood movies were from 2010-20 and maybe they will make something great in the future maybe not ,for now let's look at these top 10 bollywood movies.

1.Sholay

Two ex-convicts are hired by a retired policeman to help him catch a dangerous dacoit , Gabbar Singh . This movie is amazing , it has also the history of being in theatres for longest times , that means it had huge box office . And it had everything so far , action , adventure , great and funny dialogues , i think it is greatest gem from Bollywood.

2.Satya

Satya is a gangster movie , it is classic movie , starring Manoj Bajpayee , Urmila Matondkar and J.D Chakravarthy . There were vulgar words which modern movies don't show , but without vulgar words gangster movie feels like "Nah" to watch . Satya , has vulgar words , has all the themes from underworld and gangwars .

A little about Satya 2 - Satya 1998 is first part which dealt mostly with man power action but second part's Satya was too smart , he took guys with his smartness rather than manpower . He was like a genius-gangsta.

3.No Smoking 2007

K, a chain-smoker, visits a rehabilitation centre to quit smoking. He is released after he signs a cheque for 21 lakh rupees and is warned that his family will be killed if he dares to smoke again. A pure psychological thriller adapted from book , Quitters.inc , No smoking is directed by Anurag Kashyap. It was dark as hell , it had mystery themes ,and it was sad. There were also some spiritual themes in it and this movie feels like a low budget Hollywood film,but it was a great one .

4.Agent Vinod

Agent Vinod (Saif Ali Khan ) sets out on a mission to find the death behind his collegue , Rajan . But he starts to find bigger conspiracy behind all this . I think this is the best and coolest spy movie ever made in Bollywood cinema , great acting by Saif Ali Khan , it had great songs , songs didn't feel foolish and they were just used at the right time , we can also see chemistry between Saif and Karina ,which was hot . And there were some real funny scenes .

5.3 Idiots

Farhan , Raju and Rancho ,three friends have had a great time in engineering years . Later , Farhan and Raju go on quest to find Rancho , while exploring their past friendship. It was beautiful , it dealt with the themes like - What the hell life is all about ? And we can see that there is pleasure in doing what you like , it has also shown the result of choosing something you dislike and burden from society to do become something in life . It was beautiful , it was funny , had bit romance and philosophical themes.

6.Kaun ?

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma . On a stormy evening, an announcement is made on the television about a serial killer at large. On a rainy night , a guy comes knocking on the door of woman to take shelter in a rain . It was a great psychological thriller . I saw this before few years , and i was scared like the legs pulling me from the hell ,the shots in the rain , the knocks on the door , the screams of the woman and who is the killer ? is there any killer?mystery was hanging in the air. If you are looking for mystery psychological thriller - this is it !

7.Dhoom 2004

A gang of bikers are on a robbing spree and infuse terror in the city. In order to nab the perpetrators, ACP Jai teams up with Ali, a mechanic. Dhoom 2004 was awesome , great acting by John , he was like a stoic guy who was the leader of that biker gang ,and he was cool . Dhoom 2004 was so fun to watch.

8.Dhammal 2007

Four lazy friends named Roy, Manav, Aditya and Boman venture out on a race to find a hidden treasure in Goa. However, Inspector Kabir soon learns about their plan and sets out on their trail. Funniest Bollywood movie I have ever seen , Adi Manav , the nerdy math when they do while crossing the broken bridge was so funny , it was taken from Road Trip by the way , but in this movie it was so funny . The third part of Dhammal was okay , The Second was better , but first part , Dhammal 2007 was amazing.

9.Jannat 2008

A gambler turns into a cricket bookie banking on his sixth sense for the game. But his urge to make quick money pushes him into match-fixing and he loses control of his life and love. Why have i added this in list ? Because the dialogues by Emran Hasmi were like WOW ! He said always some cool arrogant stuff and the movie had nice romantic songs .This movie is crime / thriller .

10.Once upon a time in Mumbai

Two gangsters, Sultan Mirza, the infamous mobster of Mumbai, and Shoaib Khan, who aims to create an image in the underworld, try their best to rule the city on their own terms. It was is crime / thriller ,it had great plot ,it had great songs and great dialogues . If you like first part , you can also check second part , Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobaara, Akshay Kumar is in second part.
